We are pleased to announce the establishment of our company, Bosch Secure Authentication GmbH . This wholly-owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH will focus on the development and marketing of solutions for authentication and traceability of products and objects, including the IoT platform Origify.

Bosch Secure Authentication GmbH will be established as an own company to accelerate growth in new markets. Originally launched as a corporate startup, Origify is now being integrated as a permanent part of the Bosch portfolio, allowing it to explore new business models and markets while establishing the necessary processes.

Origify is a comprehensive IoT platform that consists of SaaS (Software as a Service), smartphone applications, and camera-based hardware for integration into production machinery, as well as standalone products. These technologies enable unique optical identification of products based on their distinctive surface structures. Currently, our solutions serve the areas of brand protection and traceability for both customers and applications within the Bosch Group.

Our Vision and Goals

With the establishment of Bosch Secure Authentication GmbH, we have extensive entrepreneurial freedoms at our disposal. This allows us to focus on new business models and markets, maximizing the full potential of our innovations. Our goal is to develop a portfolio that meets the needs of our target markets, with Origify as the starting point. We focus on traceability in the manufacturing industry and on brand and product protection in the luxury goods sector and high-security printing. Furthermore, we plan to expand into additional industries such as the pharmaceutical sector and the art market.

Management of the Subsidiary

The management of Bosch Secure Authentication GmbH will be assumed by Oliver Steinbis and Florian Hachenberger. Together, they will guide the team into a successful future.

Customer Information

We would like to emphasize that the establishment of the company will have no impact on existing agreements with our customers. Contracts will be transferred in consultation with the respective customers. As a 100% subsidiary of the Bosch Group, we will continue to benefit from close collaboration with other relevant units within the corporation.
